Testimonials

I’m really grateful for the work Robert did on my MA dissertation. He went above and beyond by helping me articulate my ideas more clearly and effectively. His insights strengthened my arguments and improved the overall coherence of my dissertation, which made a huge difference to the final piece. I ended up getting a distinction, and his input was definitely part of that. I would absolutely recommend him if you need more than just proofreading.

Working with Robert is always a learning experience. He treats every project with nuance and care, offering insightful feedback that improves the piece while respecting my voice. It’s rare to find an editor who is as thoughtful as he is skilled.

I have worked with Robert for several years on a PhD thesis, academic articles and journalistic pieces. His editing is dynamic, and he is able to adjust to the different writing styles I use for different kinds of work. His English skills are very advanced, and he has a strong grounding in my field, the humanities. He always pays close attention to what I want to communicate, giving useful suggestions about structure and style while also respecting my decisions.

I had worked with other proofreaders on my PhD thesis before finding Robert, but with the submission deadline approaching and the pressure building, he did far more than correct spelling and grammar. He helped improve the clarity of my writing, reduce repetition, and bring out the key elements of my argument. Thanks to his careful and thoughtful support, I was able to complete all the necessary revisions and submit my thesis on time. His help made a real difference.

–Dr Sunida Siwapathomchai, Loughborough University, UK

I am pleased to recommend Robert for thesis proofreading and editing work. In 2023, he proofread my doctoral dissertation and an accompanying journal article, which were later successfully published. His editing was meticulous, thoughtful, and greatly improved the clarity and flow of the text. He provided timely, professional feedback while respecting my original meaning. I can confidently recommend his services to any academic or author seeking high-quality editing.

Robert helped me to prepare a paper for publication in the Languages journal. I’m grateful for his assistance in revising the grammar, polishing the language, correcting punctuation, improving word choice, and other aspects of my paper. His help significantly enhanced the quality of my work, and its publication would not have been possible without his support. Thank you once again!
